NYC Resistor Halloween Gigante Party tonight at 9 PM! http://is.gd/5mQ5 I’ll see you there, post-apocalyptic-style.
some days it’s best to just go home and eat a hot bowl of tasty soup.
Tuned my kick drum to the tone I’m looking for: thick n’ punchy. Practiced fills for an hour. Now back home, workin’ on blip. Need slippers.
Ate lunch at my desk. A piece of brown rice got lodged between the period and slash keys and had to be extracted w/needlenose pliers… yuck
nothing like a 13 hour workday to kick off the week.
Took the Mad Max costume for a test drive in Queens. Very pleased with how it turned out, though the leg brace could use some adjustment.
To whomever has been stealing my philips screwdrivers in this datacenter, you’re entering a World of Pain. This is the third one missing!
OH: “So what’s up with the GmailPhone anyway?”
worked on the Mad Max costume at nycresistor (dremel FTW!) and now at Burp Castle for (more) beer, maybe San Loco… mmmmmmm taco
Jukebox is in full effect at Blip HQ. Now playing: “Synthesized” by the Epoxies. Someone besides me better start queuing up songs!
Heading to the Web Experience Forum where I’ll be on a panel at 4:45 pm on CDNs with Edgecast and Akamai, among others.
is it possible that Boston taxi drivers are worse than NYC taxi drivers? Blimey.
I wonder if the hotel lobby piano player ever slips in some Black Sabbath just for kicks.
Finished reading the Roald Dahl Omnibus. He was an exceptional short story author. Highly recommended.
Drinking absinthe for the first time thanks to @trabucchi
Step 4 is very important when using the LAZZZOR →
I haven’t been to a movie theater in a long time. “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” was surprisingly good. Solid B+, maybe even A-
art project idea: find a patch of new sidewalk. Take a photo of it everyday. Make a video of the photos, watch the black dots (gum) appear.
RAID controller says this 7200 rpm drive is 5400 rpm. Either someone’s a dirty liar or something’s making it spin slower…during a rebuild!
Drinking with Bob on the economy: http://blip.tv/file/1308817 Brilliant, and only made more so by the Cookie Monster t-shirt!
